“The woman who does not require validation from anyone is the most feared individual on the planet.” – Mohadesa Majumi
For most of us, our spiritual teacher is our suffering because eventually it brings about our awakening. It’s so empowering to say, “this is no longer serving me” and walk away in peace.
That sounds like such a tall order. Being awake and aware enough to know I am enough and respond to others with that perspective. Realizing I was enough was so much a part of my journey that I tattooed it on my arm. It’s something I need to constantly remind myself, albeit less and less. The difference? Knowing that I need nothing outside of me to validate me. Only I can validate me. That’s where I find the amazing place of peace and freedom.
After all, when you rely on others to validate you, you give them power over you.
You don’t find your worth in anyone else – especially a man. You find your worth within yourself and then you’ll find a man who is worthy of you. Remember that.
With practice, I’ve been able to turn down the volume of the voice of my scared self and increase the tone of my most triumphant side. It’s taken strength, courage and confidence to choose to be happy most days.
Womanontopp.com says, “I no longer need hardcore proof to validate what my intuition tells me. If something feels off about a person / place / thing, it’s because something is off. I’m not sticking around to discover what it is. My time and energy are way too valuable.”
Don’t apologize for any part of you. If someone truly loves you, they don’t see your flaws or your scars – they actually love that depth and those marks. There isn’t a single person on this planet who is entitled to treat you like shit.
Remember – blessings are always coming to you.
