Spirit animals

I’ve always been interested in my spirit animals. They are teachers and guides in life. What I didn’t know was that spirit animals can change throughout life. It’s not as if I only have one spirit animal. In fact, it’s possible t0 have multiple spirit animals at once.

I was searching the web for information about spirit animals and found multiple quizes meant to identify your spirt animal or animals. I took a few and found out I have three spirit animals.

Spiritual life has plenty of room for two or more spirit animals, and they will co-exist in peace. One Native American tradition says that there will be nine animal guides in every lifetime.

I took two spirit animal online quizes. I found out I have three spirit animals right now: the owl, buffalo and rabbit. See below for more on each.

The owl spirit animal is emblematic of a deep connection with wisdom and intuition and are likely to have the ability to see what’s usually hidden to most. The owl guides me to see the true reality, beyond illusion and deceit. It also offers inspiration and guidance to deeply explore the unknown and the magic of life.

The owl is a powerful and symbolic animal in many cultures and traditions worldwide. With its piercing gaze and silent flight, it guides us through the darkness of the unknown and illuminating the truths that lie beneath the surface.  And yet, there is also an eerie quality to the owl, a sense of ominousness and death that reflects our own fleeting existence and the transience of all things.

By embracing the owl’s symbolism – both light and dark – we can learn to navigate life’s twists and turns with confidence, purpose, and a deeper understanding of our own nature and the world we live in.

The Spirit Animals the Buffalo and Rabbit indicate a dominant trait f0r me is abundance. It’s the ability to see life as overflowing with opportunity, beauty and blessings. I recognize prosperity begins with gratitude, and I attract more of what I appreciate. Whether it’s love, creativity or success, my open-hearted energy naturally multiplies the good around me.

The Buffalo represents gratitude, grounded prosperity, and sacred connection to the Earth. Revered by many cultures as a symbol of provision and blessing, the Buffalo teaches that abundance flows when we honor what we already have. Like this majestic creature, I try to walk with humility and generosity, sharing my gifts freely while staying rooted in gratitude.

The Rabbit, my lighthearted counterpart, symbolizes fertility, growth, and joyful creation. Quick and curious, the Rabbit thrives in the fields of opportunity – teaching that abundance isn’t just material; it’s the freedom to play, explore, and dream. Like the Rabbit, I know when to move fast, when to pause, and when to trust that what’s meant for me will multiply naturally.

Together, the Buffalo and Rabbit embody the harmony between gratitude and manifestation – grounded appreciation paired with joyful expansion. I try to remind others that abundance isn’t about having more; it’s about feeling more – more love, more peace, more connection.
