I am Bridget Hahn of Hahn Publications, Inc., and I am a writer, editor and Ghostwriter .
What is Ghostwriting?
The common definition of ghostwriting is the act of one person writing in the name of another person, group or company without typically receiving a byline or public credit. Ghostwriting is a specialized skill. It’s part technical writing and part art. It’s about telling compelling stories and bringing them to life. All books are in the author’s voice and ensures they address the ideal audience.
What does it mean to edit content?
Editing is the process of proofreading, reviewing, revising and correcting any written piece. It also includes modifying the organizational structure and grammar overall. Additionally, it’s about understanding different style guides and knowing how to create a consistent document, including a book manuscript.
Do I also provide editing services?
Yes! If you are writing your own book, I also provide editing services to help you create a book that flows, has proper oganization and is mistake-free. I can also ensure your book manuscript is formatted correctly.
What makes me a good Ghostwriter?
Ghostwriting requires being both a good writer and a good listener. That’s what I did when I was an executive writer, editor and ghostwriter. I spent a 30-year career in corporate America as a communications leader. I’ve worked at companies such as Northwest Airlines, Cargill, DuPont, UnitedHealth Group and Andersen Windows. I wrote for leaders in the C-suite from to presentations to video scripts to magazines articles to corporate stories and more.
Who’s book will this be?
Ghostwriting is a customized form of collaboration, covering a range of relationships and services tied to the authors’ needs, objectives, and work style. I produce content such as a book under the author’s name. I do not get an author byline. The book is fully owned by the client end-to-end.
What about confidentiality?
I will not divulge to anyone, either during or after completion of the book manuscript, any confidential information obtained or developed while working on the Book.
