Last week, we celebrated my cousin’s wedding. It was a beautiful, traditional Catholic wedding. It was peppered with cultural elements that made it a unique celebration.
While I didn’t get a really good photo of the couple, this will have to do.
My cousin is a lot younger than me. I’m closer in age to her mom. Sophia, the bride, looked simply classic and meeting her friendly and conversational groom was a pleasure.
It was also a pleasure to see my many aunts and uncles. Everyone was surprised to see my daughter at the dinner table. I hope she felt the love from everyone. I was pretty proud of her.
I was blessed that my husband, daughter and I were there to celebrate with Sophia and Robin. I’m happy for her and for all that’s in store for them. Congratulations!
